Abstract
The author talks with Kirill Krok, the director of the Evgeny Vakhtangov State Academic Theater, about the relationship between the Boris Shchukin Theater Institute and the Vakhtangov Theater. During the conversation, the main trends of the modern theater process, the training of actors and directors, and the formation of the troupe of one of the best theaters in the country are considered.
