Place of power
Abstract
The article narrat es the history of the educational theater of the Boris Shchukin Institute, which has been going on since 1939. Almost all generations of graduates of the institute have appeared on the stages of the Educational Theater (the Big Stage, the Griner Hall, the stage of the Shalyapin House, the New Stage). Here, the future famous actors Alexander Shirvindt, Andrei Mironov, Alexander Kalyagin, Yuri Bogatyrev, Sergei Makovetsky, Maria Aronova, Alexei Kravchenko, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Viktor Dobronravov and many others took their first steps. Several diploma performances included in the repertoire of the educational theater served as a reason for the opening of independent creative groups. Among them are the Taganka Theater, the National Theater of Moldova, and the Russian Theater in Ossetia.
