The author creates portraits of those who stood at the origins of the Vakhtangov movement in art and are inscribed in golden letters in Russian and world theater history. The article tells about the contribution to the development of theatrical art of the students and the followers of Evgeny Bogrationovich Vakhtangov: Ksenia Kotlubay, Cecilia Mansurova, Yuri Zavadsky, Anna Orochko, Vera Lvova, Leonid Shikhmatov, Boris Shchukin.
